Denver, Boulder & Western Road Number DB&W #206

This 30' gondola is painted box car red and lettered in white. It runs on Bettendorf trucks. The Denver, Boulder & Western Railroad was formed in April 1909 to take over the foreclosed Colorado & Northwestern, which was organized in 1897. Commonly called coal cars, these cars were actually used for hauling.
