This is a brand new Micro-Trains Line "N" Scale 3 Bay Ortner Rapid Discharge Hopper in the Chessie System / C&O paint scheme. The car number is C&O 45050 (Item #12500051). Built in September 1976, 200 'Rapid Discharge' hoppers were stenciled with the "Ches-C" logo designed by Franklin Carr. The H-61 Ortner's often served the Chessie as unit train limestone haulers in their Virginia Rock Runner trains.
