HO Universal Decoder, Steam

The “1869” HO Gauge Universal Steam Mini Sound Decoder is a full featured sound decoder with its small size specially designed to fit into the many tight configurations prevalent in HO scale steam locomotives. In keeping its six decade tradition of moving the railroading product line forward, MRC’s engineers have incorporated exciting advancements and technology into this 28 NMRA function Steam decoder. Typical of MRC’s decades of experience, fastidious hobbyists can have an HO Steam Locomotive with a multitude of onboard choices of bells, whistles, synchronized chuffs, lighting and more. Both NMRA 8-pin and JST 9-pin connector and a 28mm speaker are included.

Equipped with adjustable back EMF, this new decoder provides fine tuning of the motor PID output frequency to ensure silent running and flexible torque output to give the locomotive better pulling power and finer speed control on uphill or downhill grades.
