Douglas carrier-capable attack aircraft, refined variant based on the 'E' model. Kit has fine engraved surface features, well detailed cockpit, full engine, separate aft fuselage section, intake trunking, metal main gear struts, vinyl main tires, segmented canopy, separate control surfaces (including optional position slats/flaps), avionics bay detail with separate access hatches, wheel wells with cannon breech detail, separate speed brakes and optional avionics dorsal spine 'hump' fairing. Also features photo-etch parts (seatbelts, seat fittings, sight frame, mirrors and speed brake interiors) plus extensive external stores (TER-3s, MER-6s, optional long and short bomb fuses, drop tanks (x2), M117 bombs (x6), Mk 82 bombs (x12) and 2 each: AGM-12 Bullpups, AGM-45 Shrikes and AGM-65 Mavericks). Decals and color painting guide for 2 US Navy aircraft: BuNo 152031, NF400 of VA-94 aboard USS Bon Homme Richard and BuNo 155033 flown by Cdr Danny Wisely with the Blue Angels aerobatic flight demonstration squadron, 1985 - includes nose anti-glare panel, wing root walkways, instrument markings, stencil data and weapons markings.
