1/72 Vampire Mk.I RAF REVELL GERMANY

1/72 Vampire Mk.I RAF

Introduced just after WWII's end, the de Havilland Vampire was the second jet fighter (after the Gloster Meteor) to be flown by the RAF. The Vampire also had the distinction of being the RAF's first fighter aircraft with a top speed that exceeded 500 mph (800 km/h). Among the most famous Vampires was the FB.5 fighter-bomber, which was powered by a revamped Goblin 2 turbojet engine. Kit features textured surfaces, a detailed undercarriage, a cockpit with instrument panel, twin tail booms and a decal set for two RAF aircraft.
