This 30’ gondola is painted yellow with ‘The Gold Belt Line’ logo on black background on its side and runs on black Arch Bar trucks. Commonly called “coal cars” these cars were actually used for hauling ore, scrap iron, lumber and ballast as well. The city of Victor is in the heart of Colorado’s gold country, near the largest gold mines in the Cripple Creek mining district.
