Mark Twain Hobby Challenger Train Print Exceptionally detailed, accurately colored large poster print of the UP Challenger from the archives of Model Railroader magazine.
The original artwork was drawn by Steven G. Davis and Lee Vande Visse exclusively for Model Railroader magazine.
The art is 1:64 S scale on coated, semi-gloss, heaby 80 # cover stock paper. The actual print size is 15-3/4" by 39 3/4".
The Challenger 3985 is one of only a few coal burning steam locomotives still in operation today. Built during the 1930's to increase
rail transit speed and reduce the rising cost of helpers and extra tains required to climb the Continental Divide
