1/48 Spitfire MkXIV-E RAF

The Supermarine Spitfire was built in greater numbers than any other British type and was the only British type in continuous production through W.W.II.

The FR.MkXIV E was the reconnaissance version of the F.Mk.XIV E Spit fire. It had "E" wing with two 20mm cannon, two 12.7mm machine gun, and one F.24 camera in the rear fuselage.

Also FR.Mk.XIV E had bubble canopy, cut down rear fuselage, and clipped wing tips for better low altitude maneuverability. Many aviation enthusiasts regard the Spitfire Mk.XIV as one of the most beautiful fighter during the W.W.II.
