1/144 B-17 Bit of Lace

This historic aircraft was named after Miss Lace, created by famous cartoonist Milton Caniff. It was painted by U.S. airman, Nick Fingelly. After completing his armament training in 1943, Fingelly was sent to England and joined the 709th Squadron, 447th Bomb Group. Due to his artistic background, he was sought after for nose art.
