1/32 F/A-18D Hornet

Academy’s award winning single seat F/A18 has been the standard bearer for this model aircraft type for some time. The demand for a new two seat version has been met by Academy with another potential award winner, loaded with Academy’s lauded attention to detail and scale precision.

About 30 new parts and new tooling will be added & modified to reproduce the original F/A18D 2-seater panel lines and exterior shape of the fuselage. A new 2-seater canopy and frame will surround the new rear seat instrument & control cluster. Other new control panel parts will complement the new rear seat pilot figure.

World renowned Cartograf decals from Italy allow you to accurately and beautifully reproduce four different Marine all weather fighter attack squadron aircraft: VMFA (AW)-225 ‘Vikings’; two kinds of VMFA(AW)-224 ‘Flying Bengals’; and VMFA(AW)-332 ‘Moon Lighter’.
