Who Mark Twain Hobby Center?
Mark Twain Hobby Center is an independently owned and
operated retailer of quality hobby products. Our main store is
located in the historic river town of Saint Charles Missouri just
west of Saint Louis. Our online storefront represents merchandise from
our brick and mortar location and other specialty products obtained
specifically for our web customers.
Does your website contain all the product from your store?
Each online store contains top-selling
products form each department, not our full inventory. We are always
adding new products to our site, so please visit frequently! As a very large and fully stocked full line hobby company we carry over
60,000 items.
I can't find the product I am looking for. What now?
If searching on our website doesn't turn up the product
you want, don't worry - just email or call us. Email: sales@hobby1.com,
or call: 1 (636) 946-2816 (international callers please dial "01"
before the number).
If I order from you on-line, will this result in SPAM mail or
my address being sold to other companies?
Mark Twain Hobby Center will never disclose information
collected from our websites to anyone else, ever. Please see our
Privacy Policy for more details. We do not store credit card numbers
in our databases.
If I order on-line, will my credit card number and personal
information remain secure?
Ordering on-line with a credit card is safer than doing
it in an actual store. Your information is kept protected and private
at all times.
Which credit cards do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Paypal
What shipping options do you have?
We primarily use FedEx and United States Postal Service.
If you have special requests (e.g. specific carrier, special
circumstances, etc.), please call Mail Order Customer Service at
(636)946-2816.
What are your hours of operation?
Our business hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30AM -
9:00PM and Sunday 12:00PM – 4:30PM(CST). Orders placed outside of
our normal business hours will be processed the next business day.
Please note that USPS and FedEx pickups are Monday through Friday
only.
When will I receive my order?
The majority of our online orders ship within 24 hours of
receipt of the order.
All orders will be processed within 3
business days of placing the order. For U.S. domestic locations,
delivery of in-stock items will normally occur within 7 - 10 days for standard
shipping and 3 - 4 days for expedited shipping. For international
locations, delivery may vary. Delivery methods and time for expedited
mail will be provided on a case-by-case basis. Please note that the USPS (Postal Service) does not guarantee shipment days or times. Orders shipped by USPS may take up to two to four weeks for delivery, although this is highly unusual and not the norm.
I didn't receive all of the items in my order!
We offer a large variety of products stored in our
warehouse location.. In some cases it may be necessary to ship orders
from a different warehouse location. Note, however, there are no
additional fees for this service. If, for some reason, we are unable
to ship your entire order, we will make every effort to deliver the
remaining items as quickly as possible. We will notify you of your
order status.
Can the website accept promotional discount codes or sales tax
exempt numbers?
Yes. Promotional discount codes and coupons that are offered occaisionally will be accepted for web orders. However, Sales Tax Exempt orders will not be
processed until a state issued Sales Tax Exemption Certificate is on
file. These certificates can be faxed to (636)723-1416 attention
Online Sales Manager.
